Thank you to everyone who helped and supported Brackenbury Gift and Craft Fair this year, with a special thanks to Angela and family who did so well on the raffle. There were over 30 prizes which were donated by local businesses and stallholders for which we were extremely grateful as it helped towards our final total.

The Mayor, Jan Garfield, did a wonderful job promoting 7th Felixstowe when she opened the fair and also launched the Christmas Card Scheme. There was entertainment promoting a local Am-dram group and also the individual singers from Stage Coach during the day.

Nearly 70 Spaces were used (including scouts, development, EAAA and raffle) .

The next Fair is booked for Sunday 2nd November 2014. The hall charges are going up for next year Consequently the booking form for next year which has already been given to the stallholders who attended, has had the space prices adjusted (this is the first increase in 3 years).

When the final monies had been totaled up and expenses paid a donation of £450 was given to the East Anglian Air Ambulance with the remainder of the money to be used by the 7th Felixstowe Scout Group for maintenance, equipment and activities.

Book the date in your diary for next year – Sunday 2nd November 2014

Thank you to everyone again.
